I can't seem to get VNC working in X. I set it up on my G4 iMac, and tried connecting from another mac with every "client" on versiontracker, including Chicken of the VNC. Every one shows a large window with smeared/blurred images of the iMac desktop displayed in miniature in all 4 quadrants of the screen; plus it takes FOREVER to update over a 56k modem, which was never a problem with VNC under OS 9 or with Timbuktu in OS 9. Any suggestions?
