I hate people who say "this sucks" because everyone has other needs. People who don't have time to learn a dozen programming languages and need to compile for os9 osx and win32 can take realbasic, it's not that expensive and works good as long you know how to make clean code. On the other hand, Objective C or C/C++ (on os9 or even win32) have the con that you have to know the systems very good and know how to use their services (window manager, etc). -- I have seen very good software written in realbasic and i've seen bull**it written in realbasic. But i've also seen very mutch bull**it written in c/c++ or even objective c.
