Vikingz2000: Live-Update is definitely the preferred way, but not always a viable option... I work for a small company. Only one Mac has email/internet access. ALL Macs get disks from clients, disks which may be virus/worm infected because the client has no protection. On those Macs w/out internet access, a downloaded updater from VT (or other source) is a necessity.
