Fecal Paste - Apple has just about always (to my knowledge) released a combo-updater along with its "single version" updater for Mac OS X. For instance, to update directly from 10.1 to 10.1.3, download the combo-updater from here: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=120103 As far as the updates themselves, from the first Mac OS X release, each update Apple has released has only improved system performance and stability, and the fact that they've been released fairly consistently and for the most part quickly, I'm very happy with my Mac OS X experience thus far.
