You're wrong, Mr. L(ame). Toast was in the apps folder and the problem still occured. Plus, Installer Vise (which powers toast installer) DOESN'T HAVE THESE PROBLEMS like the Apple's Installer. Did you notice the "searching hard drive" bar during the install? I finally had to reboot into 9 to update. Running installer in classic generated the same error, just later into the install.
