QuoEdit is an easy-to-use plain text editor for Mac OS 7.1 or later, but not yet for OS-X. If you are looking for a light, simple, but potentially powerful editor, try QuoEdit. After 5 years development Lyomei Sakai released, on 26th July 2001, a final version of QuoEdit 1.0.0 which is now $10 shareware. It incorporates some 20 minor improvements & bug fixes not in the earlier 1.0.0 beta released 14 April 2001. QuoEdit can now be downloaded from Lyomei Sakai's site at http://www5c.biglobe.ne.jp/~quo/libix.htm . and from the Info-Mac Hyperarchive. Incidentally, Lyomei Sakai's site includes both English and Japanese versions of QuoEdit, and links to other related sites are also being added there.
