Okay, I'm a little p-oed at my monitor and card. They both support 1280x1024 @60Hz, yet, Apple says it must run in VESA mode before the resolution can appear in the control panel. I'm skeptical, but I know what I am doing. People, before you change your resolutions using another utility, check to see if the resolution is suppoted by both the card and the monitor by reading the instruction manuals. Another thing, resolutions that aren't defaulty supported by the system, will cause the monitor to change to 640x480 upon restart, then switch back to your desired resolution after the control panel loads, which could wreak havoc on your desktop.
