Missing Files? NOT! (It's a feature! ;-) The runtime archive contains the files for the online help and the syntax files which are needed for colorizing texts in various (programming) languages. Therefore this archive is not included with the binary to make the download smaller. This allows to download a new binary without the need to downlaod the syntax files - see? More info on "Vim on MacOS" is on the page: http://www.vim.org/macs.html New features of the next major version of Vim: Vim-6 will have support for Unicode and "folding" which lets you hide blocks of text so you can work on structured text more easily. Chedck it out! :-)
