Up to 3.0 preview, XPlay was pretty much useless without playlist functions or delete capabilities. However, 4.0 preview is out now and it adds those two missing gems. Being able to edit the contents and Playlists live in an Explorer-like interface is miles ahead of Apple's iTunes prison (and much better than any Mac third-party util that attempts to get around iTunes). I'll never be caught dead using iTunes gain! Even without auto-syncing (who wants that anyways?), 4.0 is good enough for me. iPod, say hello to PC. Whoo-hoo!

XPlay "Preview" Versions 3 and 4? - jowie
Hi Bob,If you look on the date of this comment it says 2002... I believe that the comment is so old it is referring to the original preview release versions, before Xplay's official release.
I believe the comments are in reverse chronological order, so when you get to the comments at the bottom, they're probably rather out of date.

XPlay "Preview" Versions 3 and 4? - bob_jones99
RE: XPlay "Preview" Versions 3 and 4?Hi,
Are you talking about Mediafour's "Xplay" application?
Going to Media 4 they only offer XPlay v 2, and the best I cd find documentation on was v. 2.2.7. Are Preview versions
something different, and where do you get them?
Thanks.
Bob J.
