I have used the Belarc Advisor since it first came out. The improvement over the previous versions is that the information is much more thorough and presented in a manner that is easy to find and interpret. Excellent, I wouldn't have a computer without it.

I used belarc earlier, however after a ful format and a windows re.install... Belarc DESPITE I have added ALL windows updates and installed them, belarc insists one critical update is "missing", also it lists my security status as benchmark 3,75 out of 10? listing things which are MEANINGLESS to me... before the reinstall belarc listed benchmark 9,25 out of a possible 10..the install is substantially the same just a reinstall to get things running faster...so now I ask is belarc just some con program to screw around like so many fakes out there?
