Product Description:

FTP Commander is simple and easy to use. It's really the bare minimum with no extra frills or thrills. It offers a no-nonsense interface consisting of two side-by-side local computer and FTP server panels. The latter contains a list of about a dozen pre-set FTP servers. It's easy as pie to establish a connection. All you have to do is select the server you want on the list and push the Connect button.

I tried this today and found that the software has been upgraded from the currently listed version - v7.9 to v8. In the process, it has become shareware/commercial.

As a basic FTP client, it seems okay.

Attention software developers: Why can't all of you write your code as cleanly as FTP Commander?!

I'd give this eleven stars if it allowed me to set a few default behaviors, such as PASV or home folder. Apparently, it's a lite edition; but these are quibbles. This is a beautiful piece of software that does its somewhat esoteric job (these days, anyway) without a fluff, muff or duff. Recommended.
