EMS PostgreSQL Manager Professional - 2.8

OK... I haven't been using this software long, but my impressions so far are extremely favourable. It lets you control pretty well every aspect of your PostgreSQL installations, has a polished interface and is pretty easy to use. I would so it was useful for beginners with PostgreSQL as much as those who've used it for a long time.

Sometimes the interface is a little confusing, but at least it's pretty consistent, so once you get used to certain button placements, it's pretty easy to get on with.

The $295 price tag for this package, plus a bunch of other useful tools, including the exceptionally useful PostgreSQL Comparer makes this pretty good value for money. To be honest, it probably paid for itself in the first day or so in time savings, especially with PostgreSQL Comparer.

It's a same it only works on Windows/Linux a I could well do with this application on the Mac, where I do most of my PostgreSQL development, however, I have to use a PC as well as a Mac anyway, and switching my KVM over to my Windows box to get this level of productivity is not a problem for me.

The HTML report is also very useful when working with a team of developer who are not all completely familiar with the database we're working with.

I still haven't use half the features of this software, but I'm extremely happen with those I have.

This is definitely worth checking out!!!
