Beware, the encryption do not work in MAC OS, you can view the encrypted folder and files using MAC file explore easily.
Works for me...I even tried to purposely screw it up!

I am getting old. I can't remember things the way I used to, and that includes passwords. My job requires that I keep a careful record of and protect sensitive passwords and other information. I decided to store this sensitive information on a common flash drive. I wanted a way to secure the information in case my flash drive was lost or stolen. I decided to give Folder Lock 5.7.9 a go. This was the first time I had purchased software on the Internet. I used PayPal to pay for it. After I paid, I got an email with a link to download the full official version. I downloaded and registered it. I immediately made a backup copy of my Folder Lock program and stored it on CD. Folder Lock 5.7.9 allows the user to move its program files to any drive, which includes flash drives. I did and stored some files on it. Sure enough, when I locked the software, the "Locker" folder where my personal files were stored disappeared and was undetectable. I was worried that someone could delete my files from my flash drive. So I purposely deleted ALL of the Folder Lock program files from my flash drive to see if I could damage my encrypted files. Well, I caused some damage all right. I could no longer access Folder Lock on my flash drive. That is until I copied the Folder Lock program files from my PC back onto my flash drive. Amazingly, the Folder Lock program immediately worked on my flash drive and I was able to open the "Locker" folder and my files were all there and completely intact! Folder Lock 5.7.9 encrypts the "Locker" folder containing your personal files so that windows cannot even detect its presence. I'm not sure what others are whining about regarding its performance. It works flawlessly. Just don't forget your Folder Lock password or you will find out the hard way just how well it works!
