Directory Opus ReviewSwiss Army Knife of File Managers - Version: 9.1.0.6, 5/14/2008 10:15AM PST

For Vista and XP, there is no better file manager. It can replace Windows Explorer, and I use it that way. This program includes a file viewing, audio file playback, .zip file management, FTP, and more. It is extremely configurable. The view will vary by file type, and the features seem endless. The more you use it, the more features you will find. It includes folder synchronization, enhanced file renaming, easy-to-use file finder, custom toolbars, duplicate file finder (but not as good as NoClone), Configuration files can be saved and used on other copies in your firm to make things uniform for multiple users.

While I prefer ExplorerPlus, Directory Opus can do ANYTHING and then some. Using Directory Opus's full feature set will save you from buying as many as 5-6 separate utilities. Not cheap, but worth it.

Directory Opus ReviewDirectory Opus - don't enter Windows without it! - Version: 8.0.1.0, 12/11/2004 05:21AM PST

As a File Manager / Windows Explorer replacement, it can't be beaten. I have used DOpus since it's earliest release on the Amiga and wouldn't want to be with out it ... ever.

The beauty of DOpus is it's total flexibility, it can be as simple or complex as you want, if it doesn't have a button or menu for what you want to do, you can create custom functions with ease.
