AurelloSoft RootKILL is a free tool developed by AurelloSoft, is capable of scanning a user's computer almost instantly, reporting any possible rootkits found. AurelloSoft RootKILL allows the user to choose what to delete as well. AurelloSoft RootKILL also automatically downloads definition updates when the program loads. AurelloSoft RootKILL also comes with an editable definition file.

Anyone can customize the file to ignore certain files, or add custom ones. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.

I couldn't get this to check for new definitions, and thus couldn't get it to scan. Furthermore, the toolbar would not install on IE, and finally, the uninstall feature didn't work,
