According to a reply email by Ewido, the detection of malware in the setup files for Screeshot Captor 2.11.01 was a false positive. I ran those files again with the updated definitions from Ewido, and no malwares were detected. So, false alarm.
Screenshot Captor is donationware with features I have only found in commercial products over $30. For example, it has autoscroll capture (in case you want to capture a webpage that is longer than your screen), you can embed textual comments in image files, you can create thumbnails, and several other non-standard features. See http://donationcoder.com/Software/Mouser/screenshotcaptor/index.html
Note that you must obtain a "free license key" from www.donation.com/Keys after registering for their forum ( at http://www.donationcoder.com/Forums/bb/index.php?action=register ), and this key must be renewed after 6 months and after 1 year before it becomes a permanent free license key.

ewido anti-malware reports the keyhook.dll to be "completed" with "Logger.Mulin.a" accompagnied with a "HIGH RISK" rating. There may be other programs...
For obvious reasons I didn't use the program, just did checks after installation and before deinstallation...

This software is mis-categorized and really should be under the Shareware category. Better yet, VersionTracker should have a category just for nagware.
I understand the need for community-supported software development as much as the next guy, but I really don't appreciate the deception in posting this as "freeware" when it clearly is not!
