Product Description:

PathSync can analyze two directories and show the user a list of differences between the directories. The user can select what actions should occur (which files to overwrite, which to delete, which to ignore), and allow PathSync to synchronize. PathSync provides nifty statistics during the synchronization, so that the user is never wondering how much time is left, etc. PathSync is GPL free software, each download package includes the source.

What's new in this version:

  • fixed a bug in filename masking for subdirectories (doing !dir1\dir2\*;dir1\ didn't work properly)

This is the kind of handy file management tool you'll wish you had sooner or later. You can view the differences between any two directories, and copy files between them to suit a variety of needs. So simple it needs no help file.

Pathsync is pretty straight forward. Pick two directories and it will compare them and then either copy files from one to the other based on some simple settings.

The only thing missing is a scheduling feature but the occasional manual usage it fits the bill perfect.
