Being limited on desk space, it's perfect to have it stationary. I have much more detailed control over cursor position as well. It's great not running out of desk space while moving things around. What a pain to stop and reposition. With this mouse, I can run all over the place with my fingers running over the ball.

AFTER USING LOGITEC USB MARBLE MOUSE FOR A LONG TIME, I HAVE NO OTHER CHOSE OF MOUSE TO USE.IT PERFECKT FOR ME SINCE I HAVE TROUBLE WITH MY ARMS AND CAN NOT ROOL ANY MOUSE.SO I WILL KEEP ON USING MY USB MARBLE MOUSE.
