Product Description:

With Simple CSS you can easily create Cascading Style Sheets from scratch, and/or modify existing ones, using a familiar point-and-click interface. You can manage multiple CSS projects, import existing style sheets, and export your projects to CSS files.

CSS is a good way to specify the styles of fonts and other page elements on your sites. It makes it easier for you to update styles too, because when done right, you only need to make a single change to update the styles on multiple pages and elements.

Simple CSS ReviewLove it on both Mac and PC - Version: 1.2, 8/1/2005 10:14AM PST

Kevin_Edwards_642 (OurPictures)
This is a *very* handy tool. Quick, simple, not bloated, and free. I use it in conjunction with HTML-Kit on the PC and with BBEdit on the Mac.

There is one suggestion for how this could be improved on both platforms...it would be nice if the code in the Source pane could be copied so that it could be pasted in other documents. I have no need to past into Simple CSS, but I do have the need to copy from it.

For anyone considering Simple CSS, don't let this one tiny suggestion disuade you. It's still easy enough to export the code and then copy from the export.

Simple CSS Developer NoteAs requested - source preview and resizeable window - Version: 1.2, 2/15/2005 02:54PM PST

HostM.com (HostM.com Web Hosting)
Source preview is now available and the window is now resizeable. Thank you for the suggestions! :-) The tooltips have been fixed as well. As for the CSS class import problem, we have not seen this after multiple tests - if you could send us an example stylesheet that causes Simple CSS to exhibit this problem, that would be appreciated.

Simple CSS Commentarynot resizeable, no seperate presentation - Version: 1.1, 2/11/2005 06:29AM PST

  • The application window is not resizeable.
  • There is no seperate presentation of the CSS definitions made. So you have to export the CSS file to get an overview.
