MSN Search Toolbar ReviewOne word: WOW! - Version: 2.0, 5/17/2005 03:24PM PST

Zaine Ridling
MSN Search Toolbar, which is really a misnomer, since it's the Desktop Search feature — now renamed "Windows Desktop Search" — that you really want. The installation allows you not to install the toolbars for IE and Explorer. The Desktop Search feature is incredible, with an active search that displays with high accuracy any document you can imagine. Also, it's highly programmable, meaning you can tweak it to work to your comfort zone, whenever and however you like. If you're also wanting to search PDF files, you'll need the PDF iFilter plugin from Adobe, found here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=2611
