iPod Music Liberator ReviewAm I missing something? - Version: 4.6, 10/19/2006 06:21PM PST

Why are there programs like this for Windows? I don't know about Macs, but on my copmuter you can just go into the ipod in My Computer and there are all my songs waiting to be copied wherever I want — full titles and artists and everything. For those who don't know, go Ipod > iPod_Control > Music > Then a load of numbered folders all starting with F. I suppose that the music is ordered in alphabetical order with this program but you can always find whatever you want with the search tool. Why pay money? Does anyone know if I'm missing something here?

ok so im just here to save yall some money....all you have to do is hook thew ipod up to your computer...right clikc on the disk when it appears...open it as a "portable media device" then click "ipod control" then click "music"...this is where it gets tricky your music is all there but its all weird and itunes wont let u play it from here...this is a simple fix, just copy it from the ipod to your desktop or a folder then open it from there into your itunes....voila i just saved you 40 bucks

you might not get your playlists or ratings but hey ill take 40 bucks over that neday

love,
