Difficult to impossible to use!

i'm searching for a cloning solution for my employer (a large school district) that will be able to deal with SATA drives. i decided to give R Drive Image a try -- ha! Whilst it boots from the created boot CD just fine, it will NOT see the blank DVD in the drive. It sees the drive, but will not mount it. They say that DVDs need to be formatted, so i did -- no change. There's nothing on their site or in their help addressing a 'drive cannot be mounted' error. So this trial is dead in the water without even having gotten to burn. Back to the drawing board...
