Nice programme!

Though the pop-ups are annoying when doing about 6000 songs, but it's the only way since I do not have a creditcard.
If I did, I'd certainly pay the ten bucks.

i had my little cousin over once and he decided "I'm gonna delete all the music on the computer"
now my itunes library is over 2000 songs many ov which i don't have the origional CD's for (my brother's who live over 300 miles away have them)

so i was pretty screwed
i tried restoring them from the darkest corners of my harddrive but over 10gigs worth of data gets thrown out pretty fast there

but then i remembered "it's all on my ipod"
and now i got my music back one of the best programs ever easy to use and fast too

Easy to use. Helpful prompts at start of process as well as the readme file ensure that all your settings are correct before copying and uploading. You can customize how your music is sorted and named. Copies approximately 130 songs per minute. Will also copy playlists. You will be prompted to register the product every 50 songs as it is copying, but you can click "ok" and it won't interrupt the actual copying.

I downloaded and installed and it worked great. Defaults were exactly what I wanted and I just chose a place to copy on my hard drive and it backed up the Ipod completely.

Although every 50 copies, it displayed a popup I had to hit Ok to.. But that is expected since it should be purchsed it you like it.

Thanks,

Mike

Music Rescue ReviewThis product DOES NOT work as advertised - Version: 3.0, 2/11/2006 11:03PM PST

I bought this utility because they advertised that it would rebuild my playlists. They also state that in their manual along with stating that by disabling the "copy to iTunes folder" function, iPodUtil won't create duplicates of your songs. Both of these claims are completely false! When I went to their help forums I found a number of people with the same complaint. With one woman The company even acknowledged in their forums (http://forum.kennettnet.co.uk/index.php?act=Post&CODE=02&f=5&t=388&qpid=1381) that they know that there is a problem with the software not rebuilding the playlists and they don't know what the answer is. But since they believe that we should have tried it out first, they aren't going to refund anybody's money. I recommend that you purchase another iPod utility made by company that has fully tested their product, doesn't make false claims and has some integrity when it comes to dealing with their customers.

Music Rescue CommentaryDoesn't load app properly - Version: 2.0, 5/24/2004 06:21AM PST

Tried this several times on two different machines, so not just a one off. On launching, app does not appear but loads in background i.e. I can see it in the processes part of Task Manager, it also maxes out my CPU full-time (I've left it for over 20 mins). Does anyone know what's going on - have I found a major bug or what?

Cheers

John
