Product Description:

WinMessenger is an easy to use program that allows you to send and receive messages from computer to computer in real-time without using dedicated servers. It works over any network protocol (TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, NetBEUI, etc.), it is easy to deploy and it does not require computer knowledge or special configuration. WinMessenger will work on your existing network immediately after installation!

What's new in this version:

The program has divided in two parts Service and Client that work in separated processes and communicates using COM mechanism. Client and server can be run on different machines. One server can work with many clients and can listen up to 254 NetBIOS Names.
DCOM communication protocol has been added. Since this version WinMessenger can work without NetBIOS. The NetBIOS became obsolete and already removed from Windows Vista. To courage you investment to our software we decided to add DCOM support that seems to be alive for longer time in Windows.
Received messages can be read by computer immediately after receiving (text to speech feature is used) so it isn't necessary to get in touch with a PC to read a message.
Works fine in Windows Vista and Windows Vista x64.
All software components were built in the latest version of Microsoft (TM) Visual Studio 2008.
The platform level has risen. Minimum required OS version is Windows 2000.
