Lasso Professional Server offers a "build once, deploy anywhere" approach for developers who demand an easy-to-use, yet powerful development environment. Quickly and securely develop applications with any database on virtually any platform - without a degree in programming - and with far less code than ASP, PHP, JSP and ColdFusion.

What's new in this version:

An issue with [FTP_GetListing] which prevented it from returning more than one entry from some FTP servers has been corrected.
An issue with [Auth_Custom] has been corrected. If an -AuthTag is specified, the tag now accepts an -AuthTagParams parameter which is passed through to the designated authorization tag along with the username and realm. The installer included with this date will perform either an update or a full installation of Lasso Professional 8.5.6.
On Windows and Linux, it is necessary to first uninstall Lasso Professional 8.5 before installing Lasso Professional 8.5.6. Your settings and databases will not be affected by this procedure. Lasso can be uninstalled using the Add or Remove Programs control panel.
The installer on each platform will stop and restart your Web server automatically.
