I bought the lifetime membership to musicmatch and for the first few years saw many possibilities. I continued through version 9 and 10 seeing this service decay to nothing more than a collection of tunes I could gather anywhere. At one time you could actually listen to live streams and even report a bug and someone would respond. Using the latest version if you click on the "online satisfaction survey".. guess what 404. Like so many others I'll be heading back to p2p or limewire or whatever it takes. Overall, as of March 2007 MM is the worst.

I have used this since the 6.0 Beta. Bought Plus version and I love it! Rips my CDs at 22X. The streaming radio stations that MusicMatch offers free over the net are high quality audio and commercial free (I have cable broadband). I have burned over 400 CDs to my hard drive at 224kbs and hooked my computer up to my home stereo. Sounds fantastic and no more jewell cases or swapping CDs. The music library and suppertagging are great. I don't even use my 5 disc carousel anymore. I haven't seen the glitches that others here are talking about - I'm running Windows XP on a PIII 1.3GHZ with an Audigy Gamer. Computer magazines have rated MusicMatch Jukebox tops for years and I agree.
ugh

still ugly and useless, buggy horse*censored*. been using this since 2001 and it still hasn't gotten much better. tried to keep the faith since i (stupidly) paid for it but i'm going to use itunes which has finally come to windows. itunes--simple, elegant, thoughtful, good app. musicmatch--vomit.
Still a iTunes rip-off - Version: 8.1, 10/17/2003 02:53PM PST
