SilverFast SE (PLUS) Reviewno, don't buy it, get vuescan instead! - Version: 6.5.1r1, 10/12/2007 10:41AM PST

    rgxrg
I bought this, hoping it would be better than vuescan but it has even more bugs than vuescan and their customer service, well I'm still waiting for a email response (they have no phone service) and it's been over a week.

It won't "take' the serial number, still puts a watermark on the file. Silverfast clearly knows about this problem as they have a link on their web site dealing with it.

Save your money, and your time, avoid this junky buggy software.

    1. Stable software - have had ZERO crashes since in use.
    2. Effective tools - AACO, and Print Dialogue
    3. JPEG2000 support - Sending images over web now
    4. Multisampling - I have to elaborate on this:
Ingeneous piece of work. This option has eliminated virtually ALL noise that I encountered before. This function turns my HP into a high quality scanner. Love this function!

    Sumary:
