We run a large network of sites, some of which have 100,000+ pages. Optimizing the code was critical for performance, bandwidth costs and for search engine indexing reasons. We spent several days searching the web for a robust code compression and optimization tool. We downloaded and tried about 20 of them. HTML Optimizer Pro was the ONLY tool that did not corrupt Jscript or ASP Code in some way. It is very reasonably priced and provides all the functionality we could want. We found one small error in the code and contacted the author Ton Brand. The support we received was OUTSTANDING. Within 24 hours we had a new beta version which fixed the issue. We rarely recommend tools but on this occasion we are very happy to make an exception.

This program was easy to use and actually did what it said it would do - made my web pages load faster. It quickly reduced the file size of my web pages by approximately 50%. But, the pages loaded 2 to 10 times faster. The effect was especially dramatic for large pages. Not only was the HTML code optimized, the javascripts were also optimized and still functioned perfectly. I optimized 2 sites - one of 500 pages and another of 2000+ pages. There were no serious problems. There is also no real risk trying out the program because it leaves your original files untouched. I suspect it will also help with search engine rankings because, by removing unnecessary code clutter and white space, search engine spiders should be able to find the keywords on the page and in the alt tags more easily. Try this program and I'll bet you'll be as satisfied as I am - my web pages load a lot quicker now.
with the output and the customer support, the product optimises the html code without fail everytime, and the added benefit of extra features makes this a winner , especially when my html validates in W3C, it still works after i run the software, and believe me i have tried other so called optimisers and i have found when optimised the page displays wrongly, and i can only say the Best Optimiseing software on the market today, nothing compares. You will not be dissapointed.
