Blubster is the new way to share music over the internet. With a decentralized design, we aim to create an online community for safely sharing and downloading your favorite music. Blubster uses the MP3BTF engine, developed by Pablo Soto. The first client using the underlying protocol MANOLITO demostrated an amazing reliability. Optisoft studied the protocol in terms of scalability and performance and decided to develop a reliable client. Six months later, 1,000,000 mp3 fans had already downloaded Blubster, and its popularity growth shows the success of the program. Optisoft's peer-to-peer technology is the product of detailed and long term research as well as studies about transport protocols like UDP and peer-to-peer technologies like Gnutella. We do believe this technology means obviously a breakthrough for the digital media industry and intellectual property rights. Only the future will tell if Blubster will be THE technology to share files between peers.
