Beyond Compare is among top 5 most useful software I ever used. Clean interface, easy of use, good session manager, works with local, network and even ftp files. Every developer should at least try this great software.
I've tried several comparing utility before ordering Beyond Compare. Overall experience is simply unbeatable.
Highly recommended and thanks to developers.
And add me to the list for OS X version.

Amazing piece of software. I use it daily to manage code on my local machine and my server. Its FTP capabilities could be faster -- it seems to stall sometimes when it's trying to read remote files -- but really there's no other piece of software out there that comes close to doing what BC does.
And add me to the list of Mac switchers who dearly miss BC. I’ve taken to running Parallels in a second display in full-screen mode, but really the only reason I do this is for Beyond Compare.
I’m off to the Scooter website to ask politely for a port. I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Beyond Compare is absolutely first class.
When modding html code I use it to update my live websites rather than the ftp side of my web design programs.
It saves me absolutely hours of work. syncing image directories and comparing code there is nothing better.
I like it seems a lot of people are saying - port it to OSX - it will be worth the investment - I know loads of people who would buy it.
I design on the Mac then have a pc to solely run this software - it is that important to me.

I use this app daily. It totally rocks! I like it so much that I even boot up my x86 box into windows just to run this puppy.
All we need is a Mac OS X version... Pretty please?

Definitely the best tool out there, the de facto standard for developers - Version: 2.4.1.241, 5/10/2006 08:25AM PST

Hard to find a feature that this tool does not have wrt file and folder comparison. The user interface is very well designed and easy to use, and the speed is VERY good.
It just needs a way to merge 2 files into a third one (instead or merging "in place") so it can be integrated with our favorite Configuration Management tool.
Also, please make a Mac OS X version !

Good stuff!

This is a great compare application.

The last diff tool you will ever need

With so many filtering and comparing options, it blows away any IDE's diff tools and I've used DOZENs of IDEs. This lets you setup great ignore rules like white space, time/date stamps, comments, file headers and it lets you setup markers with easy to really let you get to the important differences in your code or any file for that matter. I'm not one for praising or even buying a lot of software but I can't thank the developers enough, my boss gladly bought all the devs at work a copy. Now if we could only get a Mac OS X version! =)
Beyond Compare is the best named product I've ever seen.

No developer should be without it. It and gVim are the only two software products I could never live without.
THE Best File/Folder Compare Utility on the Market

Wow, there's nothing that Beyond Compare cannot do. Once you start using it, you'll question how you ever got along without it. In the days of 300Gb HDs, we all have more files than we need. But if you're synching files between work and home, or desktop to laptop, Beyond Compare is an invaluable daily tool. It has an attractive, versatile, easy-to-use interface and no bugs, so there are neither glitches nor unexpected results. Contains a built-in editor with synchronized scrolling for virtually all types of files.
