ArtenScan is designed to scan documents from an attached scanner, identify the document ID and then save that document, using the document ID, in a predetermined location on the network. An example of use might be: Signed POD (Proof of Delivery) documents scanned and stored on the network and then made available to customer services staff by viewing the document via the document ID. The size of the image you wish to store can be configured, so for example you may only wish to scan a portion of the page that contains the document ID and the customers signature. This flexibility makes the scanning faster and saves storage space on disk.

Multiple versions of ArtenScan can be installed and configured for different jobs. You might have a version installed to handle POD documents and a version installed to handle sales orders.
