IBM Websphere Business Components Text Analyzer - 1.2

IBM Text Analyzer Business Component can quickly learn to perform fast, accurate, and high-volume text document categorization. Categorization can be described as the grouping of objects according to some common features. The Analyzer categorizes any information that can be expressed as an electronic text character file. If the solution to a problem can be realized by categorizing text character data, then the Text Analyzer may be used as part of that solution.

Some common examples of electronic text character files are: e-mail messages, HTML pages, and computer programming code. Text character data may also come indirectly from non-electronic sources. For example, a paper document can be expressed as an electronic text character file by scanning an image of the document and then processing the image with OCR (optical character recognition). Analysis can be tailored to a specific natural human language. and a subset of the Unicode character set may be used as the character encoding.
