This SoftPaq contains the Compaq Display LiteSaver Utility, a software application that can increase monitor life and save energy. Display LiteSaver allows users to place their monitor into its low power Sleep mode at pre-defined times. With most monitors, Sleep mode is defined as turning off the display and shutting down or reducing power to most internal circuits. The result is protection against image retention which can extend the life of the display, and very low power consumption which will reduce energy costs.
