Product Description:

Component of the Compaq OS deployment and software distribution solution. This Agent is currently pre-installed on selected Compaq products. The Agent is designed to enable software and operating system distribution on Compaq systems and it is necessary for the full operation of Altiris eXpress. Additionally, the Altiris eXpress Agent registers that Compaq commercial system with the console and enables the 30 day, free deployment capability. Any Compaq commercial system can be used for 30 days, free of charge, with Altiris eXpress, to deploy an initial OS image and any other custom software application.

What's new in this version:

Fixes an issue where the agent will not allow NT4 to shutdown if there is no NIC or protocol stack

Fixes a memory leak

Fixes logoff problem on double byte NT4 and Windows 2000 languages

This version of Altiris eXpress agent is from version 4.1 Service Release 1a
