BG_ASCII - 2.0

BG_ASCII v1.3 is an interactive ASCII graphic tool. It can create color, halftone or black and white ascii pictures from image files (supports many image file formats - bmp, jpg, gif, ico, pcx, pcd, tiff and some other) and also can create monocolor or gradient color artistic ascii text. You can save your work as plain text, bmp image file or color html page. Using desktop hotkey you can create artistic ascii text within any windows aplication (this is very useful to add e-mail signatures or commentary to program code). Ascii art picture can be inverted, flipped, rotated, cropped. You can resize and crop image, adjust black and white levels, change foreground, background and halftone characters, adjust fontfaces and etc.
