Too Slow

When I want to see a document, I want to see it--not a bunch of patents. I have Acrobat Reader 4.0 on my machine and manually load it when I want to surf the web. How can I get 4.0 to automatically load these PDFs?What started with Acrobat 5 has gotten worse. Cannot wait for version 7.0!
Adobe Makes Another Mistake Here

Adobe has been lambasted with the release of Acrobat 6.0, and Reader was also horked up in the same ways. This is the most bloated, slowest program you will ever run on your computer. Even with the 3.0GHz I have and 2Gb of memory, this monstrosity still takes 10 seconds to load the first time, and then it sits in your memory like a republic, eating everything it can get its hands on. It's just awful. Problem is, there are no viable alternative PDF readers at present. The only one that comes close is Jaws' PDF Editor, and all it does is open and close them and that's about it. IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A GREAT PDF CREATION TOOL, SEE FINEPRINT'S pdfFACTORY PRO at www.fineprint.com — it beats Adobe hands down, and costs hundreds less than Acrobat.
