This is a simple to use program yet really works and it's quite fast.
Although designed for converting TO mp4s, it will convert pretty well anything to anything and gives a large selection of formats to convert between.
It also has the advantage of allowing a volume change during conversion (rare in conversion programs).
Although there are programs (open-source) that will do the same, for speed and ease of use, this one is well worth the money.
It also includes not only video conversion but the option to select only the sound from a video and save that as an audio file.
It's also pretty easy on CPU use and will work happily in the background without slowing things down too much.
I'm used to having to buy at least two programs for each task as one seldom does everything I want. Not so with this.
I've used it for a few years now and haven't (up to now) had a problem. Well, one actually, it wouldn't convert some flv files but an update fixed that - and there's lifetime updates included in the price.
It will also allow a batch of files to be converted (overnight is good).
There's many aspects I have not yet had the need to use but I'm sure it will cope with those just as well.
I can't praise this program highly enough. I just haven't found a fault with it yet (and I've dumped my previous programs as "no longer needed".
