My HD crashed (yes I do back up now... grrrrr). My whole iTunes library is based on smart playlists. These playlists use stuff like ratings, playcounts, skip counts and commentary. You should have seen my face when I faced the fact that all may personal data was going to be lost. TuneAid's put everything back in my Library. I cannot thank the developers enough. One thing thought was that it didn't recover the criteria used to create my Smart Playlists. Nothing too bad really because the metadata was there. It took me 10 minutes to recreate them. In fact it was a good thing 'cause I created some new ones and fine tuned the ones I already had. I can recommend TuneAid without hesitation.
