Product Description:

AutoIt is a simple tool that can simulate key presses, mouse movements and window commands (maximize, minimize, wait for, etc.) in order to automate any windows based task (or even windowed DOS tasks).

AutoIt was primarily designed to assist in automatically installing software that cannot be automatically installed by other means. This is most useful during a PC rollout where hundreds or thousands of client machines need to be automatically installed. However, AutoIt is not limited to software installation and can be used to automate most simple windows tasks.

What's new in this version:

Fixed: RunAs() and RunAsWait() now use @SystemDir as the working directory instead of @WorkingDir when a user-supplied working directory is not specified.
Fixed: Contextmenuitem not firing events.
Fixed: Icon transparency refresh when on tab regression.
Fixed #360: RunAs() under Windows 2000.

The virus alert referred to by "ljthomasljt04" is over 2 years old, and is a FALSE virus alert!

AutoIt is a brilliant scripting tool, and I've been using it for more than 5 years.

Highly recommended!

It is efficiently supported by the author (Jon Bennett) assisted by an enthusiastic and growing online community. Visit the AutoIt forums for more details on the false virus alerts .. remember, anti-virus programs are not perfect ;o)

Final word on the features: awesome and expanding rapidly as more and more people apply their collective imagination. Again - visit the online forums for more in this regard!
