I like this program because it's very basic and free..i'm fairly good understanding software and programs at 38 but my dad has problems with some other burning programs like Roxio which tends IMO to be bloated a bit much.

Again this is very basic, but the program gives a main menu of 5 options.
The one i used was to burn a data disc. so this is the part i will review.

It opened out with four menu options on top.
Disc - Edit - Recorder - Help
Disc info is very generic will tell u that it is a CD-R and available space
allows for multi-session, eject on finish, verify or not verify.
You can not save your listing that you burn...which would be a nice added feature here.

You can drop and drag files from your folders to the program window or use the button to add files/folder via the windows file interface.

You can chose your recorder, if u have multiple recorders. it had no problem recognizing the 2 on my dad's computer. You can elect to erase a CD-RW via menu. The eject is via the menu, there is no button which might be nice.

The program burned nicely with no coasters produced. The data was able to be read. The data was photos. The speed was fairly quick IMO.

For a free program i feel that it is very good. I am pleased with it. and i think my dad may end up using more than Roxio's Easy media Creator at least for certain things.

There isn't much documentation, but most CD burning should be intuitive and this one is. features seem pretty good, obviously i haven't burned any video, so not sure how that section is. and so far it's been very very stable. well built program. and lastly for the price of Free it's great!
