The Big Event - 1.2

Allows you to coordinate events from a centralized Web server or network drive without e-mail. People worry about Spam and viruses. People delete emails. People lose emails. People hate emails. With The Big Event, you publish event details to a central location; your server or network folder. The Big Event accesses that file and stays up-to-date and displays your description on demand. You are safe from Spam and viruses because there's no email address used and no data is transferred to your computer disk. The Big Event runs discreetly and quietly on your desktop until the event is near. You and everyone else who is subscribed to that information will automatically get updated information.

If you're in charge of the event and the event date or time has changed, just update the file. If the event gets cancelled, just say that in the description, and that's it. Don't have time to type? Just record a video and upload it with the event file. Version 1.2 include unspecified updates.
