Product Description:

ActiveStates' free binary distribution of Perl that is now available in packages for Linux, Windows and Solaris. ActiveState provides the ActivePerl binary packages free to the community as part of its support for Perl. Based on Perl 5.6, ActivePerl 5.6 is a significantly enhanced distribution as it encompasses the new features available in Perl 5.6. As well the Windows package provides additional features to take advantage of that platform.

interested in using PERL, in a windows environment, this is the tool to use. I have used prior versions of ActivePERL to develop scripts that worked on both Windows and UNIX systems without any rewrites necessary. Excellent program!
