At least it works...

Hey it works. Not flawless but it works. This program was installed on a Windows 98 machine when I started working here in 2000. That machine died and I've reinstalled it on a 2000. It was version 10 then. Maybe not the same build but version 10. What is one suppose to think if after 5 years and no upgrades? I keep running the update manager and it always congratulates me on having the latest update. I've have had others complain and verify the same problems that I had with this program. Freezes up the modem. Crashes. It's not very feature rich and about all it does is fax and recieve faxes. If it wasn't so unstable I'd say get it. But me? I'm ready for another faxing solution.
or at least a suggestion of a similar product that I could transfer my WinFax Pro information (contacts, Sent Faxes, etc) to and have it function in a similar way. The cartoons cover pages are its best feature. No matter how many faxes an office gets per day, they ALWAYS notice mine and get right back to me.
Life without WinFaxPro is horrible. If you are not going to update it, could you please reccommend a replacement program to me that I could use? I have 10.03 now and it will not work with Vista Ultimate. I really need something at least similar.
For those of you thinking of upgrading to Vista, think twice if you use WinFaxPro as much as I do!
HELP!?!?!
Send responses directly to norene@comcast.net, as I don't check this website often. Too depressing for me.... :-(
