If you are using a retail version of Norton AntiVirus, the new Intelligent Updater feature will search for a valid subscription to virus definitions before it installs any updates you have downloaded. If your subscription to Symantec has expired, you must renew it before you can install the definitions. You can renew your subscription by running LiveUpdate from within Norton AntiVirus.
