this product was more stable on my computer than winZip, but I would like to see one change - an easier way to specify the location for file destinations.

I tried it for one large file (.tar) and immediately ran into problems. In the browser when it was set on "all readable files" it didn't list it. When I set the browser on "*.tar" it showed it and opened it fine. A minor bug but not promising. When I tried to extract the file it gave an error messge to the effect that the file was too big. It was a very large archive so I guess it ran against some limit in the program. On the other hand, the interface looked quite professional (much like winzip). I imagine this is a fine program for more normal-sized archives but can't recommend it for large archives. Certainly can't beat the price though. Well worth checking out but may not always work.
