TimeBill - 7.0

TimeBill makes it easy to accurately track and bill time spent working for clients. If you work for multiple clients, or switch from task to task during the day, or your clients demand detailed and accurate billing statements, TimeBill is for you. Consultants, free-lancers, lawyers and accountants find TimeBill an essential tool!

TimeBill's "stopwatch" logging feature lets you log time worked on a task by simply selecting a task and clicking a button. TimeBill automatically tracks the time logged on the active task... to the exact second! It keeps track of elapsed time even when the Palm is turned off or you are working with other applications, until you tap the stop button or move on to another task. Naturally, you can also manually create and edit log records.

TimeBill's Today page updates every second to show the hours, minutes and seconds time ticking away on the active Task, both in the current log session and as the total time spent on that task. It also includes handy summaries of all billable and non-billable time logged on the current day and month. Tasks are automatically associated with clients and projects, so detailed billing is straightforward and easy. Tasks can be marked as non-billable, and you can even override the client rate for individual tasks. TimeBill supports any number of clients, projects, tasks, and logs.

When you are ready to create an invoice, simply select a billing period and client, then click Create Invoice. Time log records are summed, rates are applied, and invoice detail is automatically generated. Click another button to export the invoice to a the built-in Palm Memo application for easy synchronization, export to Word/Excel, or presentation to the client. You can even beam it! You can sync all your TimeBill data to the optional desktop application (available soon). TimeBill Desktop Edition provides multiple analysis and display options, editing and detailed export capabilities, and sophisticated formatting, all in an easy to use explorer style interface.
