Xiino CommentaryGreat Browser, Dead Company? - Version: 3.4.1E, 12/20/2007 08:51PM PST

I registered my copy of Xiino a few years ago. I still use it every day, usually to read articles from RSS feeds read in QuickNews. I note that the company's website (www.mobirus.com) is now gone, which I assume means the sad end of Xiino.

I still recommend it, but it's probably dead to future development (there haven't been any updates to it in years anyway).

Xiino ReviewXiino - product good, developer unresponsive - Version: 3.4.1E, 11/9/2006 10:34AM PST

I have used the xiino browser for a few weeks on a Garmin iQue 3600 (using a Enfora portfolio for connection).

The browser works vey well, and is very fast (considering the hardware). However the developer has been very poor at answering requests for a registration code. I purchased the product 3 weeks ago via Handango (one of the two options provided on the developers site) and have not yet received a registraton code.

Two emails to Handango's support and four to the developers site have not resulted in a registration code.

It doesn't matter how good a product is - if the developer does not honour the financial transaction, the product is useless...

Because of this, I cannot recommend the developer or the product.
