    I've used QuickNews on my Palm TX for a long time to download feeds with both the Mac conduit and direct with WiFi. For Palm OS, the program is generally stable and works well with other applications (e.g., passing feeds' article links to email programs or a browser like Xiino (but not Opera).) It shows, as an option, embedded images, and lets you choose which feeds to download depending on your connection (conduit or direct).

    My only gripe, and a piddling one it is, is that QN cannot display Japanese feeds, even though I have J-OS installed. However, I don't hold that against the developer at all.

    Quick News for Palm OS Commentaryv1.2 of the Mac OS X conduit seriously broken? - Version: 1.22, 1/27/2006 03:12PM PST

    I've been using Quick News since it used to be called Hand/RSS, and I really enjoy it. Unfortunately, the latest version of the Mac OS X conduit seems to be badly broken. Whenver I run it the sync takes FOREVER and I eventually get an error in the Mac OS Conduit Manager that says "Unknown Sync Error [16385]".

    I am syncing with a feed list that worked fine under the previous version I was using. Anyone have any ideas?
