I've been using SnapperMail since the first versions. It was revolutionary when it was released, head and shoulders the best mail client around. Now 2 years later, it's still the most feature-packed and sophisticated mail app around - whilst still retaining their simple to use elegant UI. The new IMAP support sets new standards. There's also archiving of old messages onto the memory card so I can carry nearly all of my mail with me - no other emailer can do that... especially handy on the Treo 650 which will be my next purchase (32MB RAM just aint enough right?). The customer support is very responsive and well informed... I couldn't be happier!

I tried SnapperMail as well as several other e-mail clients when I got my Treo 207 in Oct. 2003. My only negative is that they've apparently been advertising that they will support IMAP 'any day now' for quite a while. With .Mac, I'd really like to be able to access all my IMAP folders. Supposedly IMAP will be supported around the end of May. Documentation is really well done, interactively. They have a Yahoo! user group for support that is very responsive as well as good e-mail support. The price is all right for the more limited version, but I'm not as enchanted with the price of the Pro version. Anyway, I heartily recommend it if you need to download attachments in your e-mails (.jpgs, Word docs, Excel spreadsheets, etc.). Includes a time-limited trial of Quick Office to open Word, Excel and even PowerPoint as well as a (free) un-zipper and jpg viewer.
For a product that's priced and advertized as enterprise-grade, I expected a lot more. Even versamail has the above features. If it were stable, and had filtering, it would be well worth the price. As it is, it is very expensive and not too useful, which is a real shame.
