I figured it out. THe HR and LR version are in the same installer. Only the HR is installed along with the lib file. The LR is for low res devices.

Purchased megalauncher 5.0 today for use with agua skin. Purchased from palmone. Installed both apps and skin to A Palm T3 running 5.2.1.
Get a dialog on launch of magalauncher that says: MagaCommander error AppInterfaceGraphics.cpp AIGInit Invalid file for this handheld. Please install MegaCom_HR.prc
It implies I need an earlier version. I can't find the 4.3 version to trial, all link bring me back to 5.0 Chicago.

I bought MegaLauncher 4 a year ago and it worked fine after spending a lot of time configuring it to my tastes. It was a suitable replacement for my previous launcher but still doesn't have some of the features of Launch'Em.
I decided to buy the new version of MegaLauncher 5.2 hoping it had some improvements. I can't believe there's no upgrade path for all the customizations done in categorizing applications and other items from version 4. It's like starting over from scratch.
Where are the Release Notes or a comparison of differences from 4 to 5? Will there also be no support for 5 users upgrading to a next version?
I am surprised there's no way to make a category hidden any more!
I should have known there is only one default skin and of course my third party purchased one no longer works with this version.
There is now a maximum of three category tabs instead of 5 in the previous version. I would prefer more like in Launch'Em.
There are still no dynamically updating categories, no ability to have a program in several categories, and no plugins so you wouldn't have to install the entire bloated program.
The web site and documentation needs to be proofread by an English speaking person.
The best new feature is the built-in uninstaller.
Please tell me my money is not wasted and there is development in progress and customer concerns are being heard. I am considering restoring the old version from backups if it were a simple process to get a refund. What a waste of my time so far.
It still is a good product for beginners but I'm sticking with version 4.3 for now.
